With 13 years of experience in game industry, Kevin has experienced different shift in the game industry from console game, handheld game to web game and recently mobile game.
He worked for Nintendo Software Technology as character artist, concept artist and RD designer. Later he co-founded Studio Voltz with former art director from Nintendo, Jun Tsujimoto.
As art production studio, Studio Voltz works with many different studios and teams to produce art for a wide spectrum of genres and platforms, ranging from game to graphic novel to animation. Studio Voltz is also an independent game studio constantly developing and experimenting casual games.
From the perspective of outsourcing, this talk tackles on art quality control, and efficient work approach with limited resource in this ever-changing market and genre. It will address how to set up an effective art production and creative process with the discipline of outsource pipeline, and also how to work with external resources to expand the scale.
