Photogrammetry workflow in Unity: Book of the Dead

Day 2 - 11:00 - 12:00

Differing from the traditional 3D visual and modeling pipeline in game development, the new Unity demo video, Book of the Dead, utilized extensive photogrammetry techniques and produced a extremely photorealistic, interactive scene that can be run smoothly at 60FPS using the current mainstream machines. In this talk, we will discuss how the development team created the scene in Book of the Dead, focusing on the workflow, and some of tips and tricks of photogrammetry.

But also, it means we are giving you better tools to write highly efficient games and applications. In this session you will learn what ECS solves, why we are implementing it and why you should care. Also, you will learn, via examples, the correct way to use it in your projects.
